USASF Member Registration

"The U.S. All Star Federation (USASF), the governing body of All Star Cheerleading, recognizes that there is a wide range of skill levels among all star programs, and understands the importance of accommodating the needs of gyms no matter their size, skill level or location."

"Requiring athletes to register as official members of the USASF has been a topic of discussion for many years. Recent research has determined that most competitive youth sports have some type of membership or registration to participate." This ideas was approved in September 2010 for the 2011-2012 competition season. There are 3 main benefits of the athlete membership:
  1. Athlete Verification: Each registered member will receive an official USASF ID card containing the athlete's birth date and official USASF member number. This will ensure that your child is competing in divisions with other athlete's of the same age, preventing older or younger children from crossing over and creating an unfair advantage. We will need your child's birth certificate and a photo ID to register.
  2. Insurance: The USASF covers all athlete members, ages 3-25, with a $1 million catastrophic policy when supervised by a credentialed coach when the injury occurs.
  3. Expanded USASF Member Benefits: Additional members will provide funding for educational programs and information for athletes, parents, and coaches. It will also enhance the scholarship opportunities for athletes in need of help for furthering their education. Paid members will also receive a bi-monthly magazine, with a focus on all star cheerleading.
